Client Area Updated 28 April 2026

Your account details, password, and security settings are all managed from the Edit My Information page in the client area.

Getting There

  1. Log in to client.teklanhosting.co.uk.
  2. Click the blue dropdown button in the top-right corner.
  3. Select Manage Account.

The page has four tabs: Contact Information, Billing Information, Additional Settings, and Authentication.

Contact Information

Update your name, company, title, address, and phone number here. Click Update My Information to save. Keep this accurate - it appears on your invoices and is used for domain registrations.

Billing Information

Set your Tax ID if applicable, your Preferred Currency (GBP), and who invoices should be addressed to. Click Update My Information to save.

Additional Settings

Choose your interface language and opt in or out of marketing emails ("I want to receive emails about new products, services, and offers"). Click Update My Information to save.

Authentication - Changing Your Password

  1. Go to the Authentication tab.
  2. Your username (email address) is shown at the top and cannot be changed here - contact support if you need to update it.
  3. You can optionally add a Recovery Email as a backup in case you lose access to your main email.
  4. Enter your Current Password and your New Password.
  5. Enter the new password again in Confirm Password.
  6. Click Update My Information.

Authentication - Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

2FA adds a one-time code requirement at login, significantly increasing your account security.

  1. On the Authentication tab, tick Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
  2. A QR code and setup keys (Hex and Base32) will appear on screen.
  3. Open your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Aegis, Microsoft Authenticator, or similar) and scan the QR code, or manually enter the Base32 key.
  4. Enter the six-digit One Time Password shown in your app to confirm the setup.
  5. Click Update My Information.

From this point on, every login will require your password and a code from your authenticator app.

Save your keys: Store the Hex or Base32 key somewhere safe when you set up 2FA. If you lose access to your authenticator app and have no backup, contact support to have 2FA reset on your account.
